No — you don't need to book in advance to join our daily Kun Khmer class in Siem Reap. Walk-ins are welcome for the 5:00 PM group session, and same-day drop-ins are completely normal. Messaging us ahead on WhatsApp or Telegram is helpful but never required for the regular class, so you're free to decide on the day depending on how your travel plans, the weather, or your energy levels shake out.

Why We Say "Walk-In Welcome" and Mean It

Our group class runs at 5:00 PM every day, and it's built to absorb people who decide that afternoon that they want to train. There's no roster to be added to and no minimum group size required — if you're the only new face that day, you still train, and if ten people show up unannounced, the class still runs. Pay the $9 day pass (or use your weekly or monthly pass if you already have one), get fitted with gloves and wraps, and join the warm-up already in progress or just about to start. Coaches Phanet and Ramon are used to a room that fills in unpredictably, and the class structure — warm-up, technique, pads, conditioning — flexes around whoever's there rather than requiring a locked headcount ahead of time. This is deliberate on our part: a booking system would add friction for exactly the kind of visitor we most want to reach, someone deciding on a whim, mid-trip, that they want to try something new.

Why Messaging Ahead Still Helps

Even though it isn't required, a quick heads-up lets a coach plan the class a little better — pairing beginners appropriately, having enough gear sized and ready, or flagging that a private slot might suit what you actually want out of the session better than the group class would.
