Methodology

Reviewed October 26, 2026

Every factual claim on this site traces back to a source in a fixed hierarchy — and when sources conflict, the highest one wins.

Where our facts come from

Sources rank in this order. A claim uses the highest available class, and a lower-class source never overrides a higher one.

  1. Our own records — published prices, the class schedule, and the coach roster we maintain at the club.
  2. Government / regulator sources.
  3. Major outlets, used only to fact-check third-party claims.
  4. Our own primary data — for example, the snapshot of our Google reviews we pulled for the Reviews page.

How a claim gets verified

Each checkable claim goes through the same four steps before it publishes.

  1. State the claim with its number — a claim without a number gets cut.
  2. Find the highest available source class for it.
  3. Link the source on the fact phrase, in the sentence that makes the claim.
  4. Re-check it at the next scheduled review of that page.

When a source changes

If a source changes — a price moves, the schedule moves — the page is corrected at its next scheduled review, or immediately if a visitor reports the difference. The review date on a page updates only when the content actually changes; an untouched page keeps its date.

Review dates

Content pages carry a “Reviewed [date]” line in small text, and that date moves only on a real content change. Search engines compare stored versions of pages, so a date that updates without a change is a false freshness signal — we do not do it.
